L.E. Brown is a strategic development officer fundraising for small- to mid-size museums and an arts researcher-writer. Her current research project, CYBER SWANA, focuses on digital, conceptual, and multimedia art from South/West Asia, North Africa, and diaspora. Previously, L.E. was founder and director of East of West gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which exhibited dozens of SWANA artists working across various mediums.
L.E. received a bachelor’s degree in the History of Art and Visual Culture at the University of California, Santa Cruz and Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, and partook in the postgraduate program in Art History and Museum Studies at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. She currently resides in California, USA.
